What FrameVault is

FrameVault is a backup and restore service for Framer CMS content. It connects to your Framer project using the Framer Server API, takes periodic snapshots of your CMS data, stores them securely, and lets you browse, export, and restore that data from a web dashboard.

Beta software — no warranty

FrameVault is beta software. It is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. The Framer Server API that FrameVault depends on is itself in beta and may change. We will do our best to track API changes and keep the service working, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation.

Do not use FrameVault as your only safeguard for critical business data. Keep your own copies of important content. FrameVault is a useful safety net, not a replacement for your own data management practices.

Your account and data

You are responsible for the security of your account credentials (the magic link email is sent to the address you sign up with). You are responsible for providing valid Framer API keys for the sites you add. FrameVault encrypts your API keys before storing them and never sends them back to the browser.

By using FrameVault, you grant us permission to connect to your Framer project on your behalf, read your CMS data, store snapshots, and write data back to Framer when you initiate a restore.

Subscriptions and billing

The Free plan is free, always. The Pro plan is billed monthly at $12/mo via Stripe. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal linked in your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect immediately — there are no partial-month refunds for the current billing period, but you will not be charged again. On cancellation, your plan reverts to Free; snapshots older than 7 days are removed on the next retention run.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FrameVault and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including data loss, loss of business, or inability to access your Framer project. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 30 days preceding the claim.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. We will notify you by email if we make material changes. Continued use of FrameVault after a change constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
